strategy for Quant solicited.

Hi Experts,

I am able to understand almost all the solutions to the tough gmat prep Quant questions but I don't by myself get that way of thinking to solve the quant prob.

Do you think I am weak in Quant and solving Manhattan strategy books will help? or shall I just keep on practising the tough questions by looking at the soln if I am unable to solve it?

Please guide me.
Regards,
Sach

Honestly finding material that helps you think through this stuff is beneficial. The answer explanations in the OG are terrible.

The OG typically provides longer, often algebraic solutions, when many GMAT math questions can be solved using a variety of faster approaches (elimination, plugging in numbers, estimation, etc.).

So, while it's a great resource, you may want to find some materials that teach you the various approaches.

Cheers,
Brent

Hi everybody !

I am facing the exact same problem! I just took my first GMAT Prep CAT test today and scored 540 (Q: 29 and V:35). I really need to improve in quant... I am studying for two months now, using Kaplan Premier, OG 13th and the Manhattan Books.
I plan on scheduling the test for mid-October (I only need a 600 to be automatically admitted in the program of my choice).

Do you know any other material/resource I could use to improve my score ?

Thank you!
