Score of 600!

by Duaabasheer » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:47 am
Hi everyone

In need of some advice here- I've just completed my Manhattan GMAT online course, and reviewed all the material though have not had much practice done from the OG outside of the classroom. Took a practice test to assess where I'm at and achieved a score of 600 today ( 50th percentile in Quant and 63rd percentile in Verbal).

My exam is due towards the end of November.. what would I have to do to raise my score to the 70th percentile at least for quant? And do you think this is doable from now until my test date, or should I push it another two weeks? I'm clueless here!

Thanks!

Duaa

A 700-point increase in 2 weeks is a big leap. That said, you can reschedule your test up 1 week before the test day, so you might consider taking another practice test in a week or so to see where you stand. I typically suggest that students achieve their target score on at least 2 practices tests before they take the official test.

To improve your score, it's important that you identify and strengthen your weak areas. One way to do this is to use an Error Log (aka Improvement Chart) while completing questions from the Official Guide (OG). You can find a free downloadable Improvement Chart here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-error-log
