Hi,

Kindly evaluate my profile and let me know about my chances of getting into the below mentioned B-Schools-

Profile-

B.Tech Undergrad- 3.7 out of 4
GMAT - 640 (AWA 5.5)
Work Experience- 4 years and currently working as a Senior Product Engineer in Telecom Sector.
Many Awards and Recognition including award from Deputy Chief Minister of State in India

B-schools in which I would like to apply are-

1.York Schulich Canada
2.Imperial Business School,UK
3.Manchester Business School,UK
4.Cranfield Business School,UK
5.CASS,UK
6.Warwick,UK

Hello,

From the information you've provided, I'd consider Manchester and Cass as on-pars and the others as reaches, mostly reasonable reaches. As an Indian from the IT sector you'd need to pay attention in your applications to differentiating yourself within this industry/demographic group.

hey..

I am planning to write GMAT in July...but before that I want to understand if my profile is good enough. Also I need ur suggestion on what all colleges can I target for 1 year MBA.

Academics:

10th : 83%
12th : 77%

B. Tech( Agricultural engg.) : CGPA 8.1 ( I m Gold Medalist)

Job:

My total ork ex in July will be 3 yrs.

I started my career with a Tractor Manufacturing firm as an assembly quality engineer - duration 1 yr. With same company m working with as strategic supply management specialist for last 2 yrs.

Extra curriculars & awards:

Won prize for presenting a paper in college. Have Coordinated an all India level college event.


Even at work I have won 4 certificates of appreciation.


Please let me know what are my chances of getting in ISB Hyderabad, with this profile.

Please also suggest me more colleges offerin 1 yr degree.

Hello, Neha,

believe your profile would be acceptable, as long as your GMAT is relatively strong. The GMAT is a key part of the profile, so it's hard to assess it without the GMAT, because everything interrelates. Unfortunately I don't know other 1-year programs offhand, and so you'd have to research that.
