Hi Aniket,

Its too early to comment on your profile suitability for HBS/ Wharton but you are on the right track. GMAT score of 740 is good.

CFA level 2 or 3 will help and BCG is a good brand.

But schools such as HBS or Wharton are looking for super performers. So, a lot will depend on what you do in next 3 years. You havent mentioned anything about your extra currics. Do work on them to be able to present a holistically developed profile.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't mention my extra currics for brevity.

I am actually joining McKinsey and Co in their Business Analyst Program.

Some Extra currics include:

1. Various Essays and Articles including 'Importance of Financial Planning for Youth' (published, Education times, 14 Apr 2010), 'Role of Media in Free Elections' (Published, Teachers Against Prejudice, 2008 Newsletter, 2nd prize worldwide), Presentation on Role of Mauritius in International Tax Planning (Awarded Best presentation by a Panel of Senior Chartered Accountants)

2. Organised and participated in various Model United Nations throughout Mumbai, won awards including High Commendation and Special Mentions

3. Awarded 1st prize in the IIT Roorkee E-Summit Stock Market Competition, based on portfolio performance using live quotes

4. Awarded the RBI Young Scholars Award 2009-10

5. Organised and conducted a Career Counselling session in school for benefit of graduating students, which has now become a yearly tradition

6. Informal Volunteering through teaching underprivileged (maid's and chauffeur's) children in the weekend at home
