I startet out with prep test of gmat.com, first one 610, second one 690, then I did all the other Manhatten Gmat Cats....
When I started with the Manhatten Gmat Cats, I had problems with the quant part, because I found them quite different to the prep test of gmat.com..

wka06x:

Good question... Two thoughts for you:

1. Assuming you took a ManhattanGMAT class, did you take advantage of the Post-Course assessment? A valuable tool which I'd encourage you to leverage if possible.

2. Talk to me about the breakdown in raw scores between verbal & quant.... any clues there?

Encourage you to take a look at the following article/post with some other helpful hints -- https://www.beatthegmat.com/a/2009/10/26 ... went-wrong.

Thanks.

Prep Test at Gmat.com 610 (Q47,V28) 690 (Q47,V38)
Manhatten Gmat Cats 610 (Q44,V31), 640 ( Q42,V35) 680 (Q45,V37) twice the same
My real test score: 620 (Q41,V34)

From the second prep test on I have always completed the test at once with IR and AWA, pretty much under exam condition with the breaks and time limits.

wka06x: Why don't you send me a private message -- let me know your full name and I'll see if we can't run some more diagnostics here. Scores are close to each other, and yet far enough apart that you'll benefit from getting a focus on a couple of key areas. You're on the verge of doing great here, but need to know where to focus.

Thanks.
