Please help for my strategy 2nd time.....

Hi All ,

I had appeared in GMAT last year in september and had scored poorly. 480.

1) I was preparing myself and with no classes.
2) I was underestimating GMAT and was not regular and focused.

Now I want to start my preparations and will appear in GMAT August 09 , Please suggest me some strategy from scratch and will it really necessary to attend classes for a good score?

Waiting for your help!! and suggestions.

Have you had a chance to look at the GMAT Resources Directory? There are plenty of resources there to help you prep from scratch. Also, if you are pursuing self study, I highly recommend you look at my Beat The GMAT Prep Blog, which is just one example of what an end-to-end prep strategy could look like.
