It is very difficult on the math side of things. The verbal is very poorly worded ( I feel ).

Just be aware, if you take the Kap practice test, DO NOT put stock in your score. I scored between 560-590 on Kap and a 690 on the real thing...

Honestly, I wouldn't bother Do GMATPrep and Princeton Review...those tests are MUCH better.

I scored a 550 on Kaplan. During the test, it seemed like all the answers were wrong in many cases. I was disappointed, because I was doing really well on the OG questions. Now that I have reviewed the questions and explainations, I feel a lot better. I don't think the Kaplan test is good for anything but going through the mental exercise of the test and potentially identifying weak areas in the Quant section. I don't think the verbal section is very representative.

I scored 50% on Sentence Correction. I reviewed each question I missed with my English tutor, who has a Ph.D in English and has tutored many GMAT students. There was only one question that he thought had a correct answer. I don't think even 50% of the SC questions have right answers.

I did the entire VR book. In that book, I missed one CR question due to a stupid mistake, and I did not miss one RC question. I did poorly on both sections during the actual test. After reviewing the questions again, I do not feel their answers were correct. I think about 80% of the questions have right answers.

I thought the quant section was more reasonable than the verbal section. The composition of questions on the quant section was different than the questions in the QR book. The questions were also much harder. I found a few places that I am weak. The DS section killed me.

I'd be interested in getting an opinion from others that have taken the Kaplan test.
