My profile:

Graduated from UCLA with a 3.3 Major: History, Minor: Philosophy
Teach For America Corp Member (2 years experience after 2010)
GMAT practice score (this is before I began studying): 740
High Stakes Poker Player- Winnings 100k+
Started a Small Business- Internet Gaming Lounge
UCLA Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Team
Pell Grant Recipient @ UCLA

I am also aiming to find any type of summer internship in order to bolster my resume. Would it also be wise to take some econ/calc/statistics classes at a community college (in contrast to a 4 year institute)?

Based on the aforementioned, I was wondering if I have a chance of getting into a top 15 business school straight out of Teach For America in 2010. Thank you in advance!

Interesting background. A business-related summer internship would bolster your admissions and post-MBA employment prospects. And yes, business-related quant classes at a local community college would also bolster your profile.

If you take the steps you are planning to take, earn a strong GMAT, and write compelling essays, then you will have a good chance at those programs open to less experienced applicants. Keep in mind that the Teach For America is also work experience; it will be up to you to show that it is relevant to what you want to do. The same with your poker playing and college entrepreneurial venture.
