Just went back from the test center today. I am not a native in US so verbal always bothers me. Is this score good enough to apply for a Stern PT program?

Here is a little bit about my background

BS in Math (GPA 3.7) (oversea)
PhD in Biostatistics (GPA 3.9) (US)
Working as a Sr. Biostatistician at a leading multinational pharmaceutical company.

Thank you very much, guys!

Hi neepa,

Your GMAT score is in the range for NYU Stern. Right now you should focus on crafting your brand message that you would like an MBA program to see, and you should begin to develop your personal essays and to find people who can recommend you on behalf of these messages. In your application, take time to write about your experience leading and managing others. If you don't feel that you have this experience, do not be overly concerned. We worked with a client who had limited leadership experience, but she was still admitted into both Harvard and Stanford. You can see the case below; it may also be applicable to your application:

I hope this was of help. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Best,

Conrad
