Except I'm trying to do a dual w/ Fletcher/HBS and not SAIS/Wharton... close enough.
Por favor, please evaluate my chances!

Hi whatsupma,
Already attending SAIS will be helpful I think. Your task will be to clearly articulate your goals and what your work experience has taught you. If you can communicate that well in your essays, I think your chances for Wharton or another similar school are good.
Good luck!

thanks Amy.
Would your recommend that I go ahead and apply the first cycle or try to get an internship during the year (at the expense of a lot of sleep and perhaps sanity), get a recommendation hopefully, and apply later?

Actually, no.whatsupma wrote:so I assume you've just graduated (or about to graduate)? I'm not sure so much about b-school, but I know for SAIS or Fletcher, you need several years work experience.
I haven't graduated yet. In fact, I am still an undergrad student. And I've already been admitted to Fletcher, w/ no work experience.
I am currently doing a BA-MALD joint degree and plan on adding an HBS MBA to that mix. BA-MALD-MBA in 2010!

Hi whatsupma,
I think you have a good chance if you apply now. If it doesn't work out for this year, you can always try again after more work experience.
Good luck!
