Hey guys,

I took the GMAT last fall and had ~5 weeks to study. I have an engineering background, and actually found the verbal to be easier than the math - which I was definitely not expecting. If you don't have months and months of prep time, you can still get a decent score! I wrote the story on my blog for those of you who would like a full debrief.

Congrats! I just had a similar experience. I thought the quant section would be easier than verbal with an engineering degree, but I ended up with a 44Q / 45V split for a 720. I guess there are a lot of math geniuses who take this test.

Same for me. I too am an engineer but got Q45/V44 for 720.
