Hi
Here's my profile.
Personal: Male, 25 years, India
Scores: GMAT 660 (Q47 V33), GPA 2.7 (relatively weak acads)
Education: B.Tech from IIT (India's top tech school with <2% admission rate)
Work-ex: 3 years. Started and ran my company in clean energy space for 3 years. Highlights include developing a unique product from scratch to target a pressing market need. Also convincing two billion dollar companies for pilot projects through core b2b sales. And getting featured on TV
Post my startup, worked in a few startups in key business development/marketing roles and currently getting interviewed by Google for a position which is usually offered to MBAs.
Additional: College Senate team-member, published lead author in a journal under Elsevier, Started an NGO while at college which subsequently led me to get selected as a StartingBloc fellow (www.startingbloc.org)
Post-MBA goals: After paying off my loans, if any, start another company
Why MBA: Gain missing skills, improve network for more/better entrepreneurial opportunities and because MBA helps improve credibility incase you're looking to raise funds for your startup. So I'm pretty clear why I want to get an MBA.
Targeting only top schools focused on entrepreneurship: HBS, Stanford, MIT Sloan, INSEAD.
If not these, I might not pursue an MBA degree just for the sake of it!
Would be thankful to anyone who can provide a fair judgement of what to expect or in case I'm missing out on some awesome schools
