Question on Emory Interview process

Hello,
I submitted my application for Emory in first round. I checked the status on Emory website it says "interview initiated". But I received a mail application rejected. I am little confused on it and disappointed too. Can anyone please clarify ? I also mailed to Emory it but no replies till now.
