Thoughts?

Recently documented examples of neurogenesis, the production of new

In my opinion, Ans is B

(A) documented and growing do not go together
(B) they is ambiguous but this is the only parallel answer
mice whose brains grow when they are placed in a stimulating environment or canaries whose neurons increase when they
(C) they seems to point to brains
(D) they seems to point to neurons
(E) not parallel
brain growth in mice that are placed in a stimulating environment or an increase in neurons in canaries that

Examples of neurogenesis can't be mice and canaries; it can be brain growth in mice and increase of neurons in canaries. That does away with B and C.
A does not use the right noun form "growth".
Now left with D and E.
E uses " ... brain growth ... an increase ... ". I would prefer not to use the word "an".

Hence I'll choose D. But I still have my doubts.

khuda bandae se khud puchhe, ke bataa, teri razaa kya hai ...

OA is D

as rdadbhawala pointed out the e.g. of neurogenesis can not be mice and canaries. Hence, the ans will be between D and E

D is more parallel and hence the ans
