Two Questions

If n is an integer between 2 and 100 and if n is also the square of an integer, what is the value of n?
(1) n is the cube of an integer.
(2) n is even
OA is A

Last Tuesday a trucker paid $155.76, including 10 percent state and federal taxes, for diesel fuel. What was the price per gallon for the fuel if the taxes are excluded?
(1) The trucker paid $0.118 per gallon in state and federal taxes on the fuel last Tuesday.
(2) The trucker purchased 120 gallons of the fuel last Tuesday.

OA is D - - I said B...You need the amount of gallons to figure this one out, no?

$0.118 x 10 = $1.18 [ 10% tax + 100 % gas = 110 % ]

$ 155.76 x 10 / (11x 120) = $1.18
OA is D - - I said B...You need the amount of gallons to figure this one out, no?
The first one is already talking about $/gal so you dont need to worry about the GALLON
