IMO C

1) not sufficient
12,20,28..all are possible

2) not sufficient

combined
p must be of the form p=4*n where n is a prime number

statement 2 says p is divisible by 3.
so n=3
number is 12
sufficient
The powers of two are bloody impolite!!
