Sorry, I´m not used to Practice Test nomenclature, is the correct answer E?
I came out with an "E" answer.
(1) Says nothing about the positioning of X, only that the 4 highest contributors funded 56% of the budget. (1) is Insuff
(2) Says that X contributed with 4.8%, which is useless in order to compare against other countries contributions. (2) is Insuff
If we use the info in (1) and (2) together we get the following:
Out of 100% funding:
56% was put forward by the 4 higher contributors. We know X was not one of them, so we have to check if X was number 5 or 6.
From the enunciate, we know that 67.8% was reunited by the 6 leading countries.
This results in number 5 and number 6 contributing with 11.8% of the budget (67.8%-56%). Because of the hierarchical order, we know that number 5 contributed with more than number 6, but we don´t know by how much. We know, however, that X contributed with 4.8%, but with that number being lower than half the quantity we know 5 and 6 contributed (5.9%= 11.8%/2) we don´t know for sure if X is among the 6 top contributors or in the other group, so more info is needed in order to know if X was either 5 or 6.
Cheers!
