In the five most important battleground states - New York, California, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts - Democrats reported $48.7 million in cash on hand, compared to the Republicans, who reported $35 million.

Do we prefer COMPARED WITH over COMPARED TO in GMAT?
Hi Vishal,
D-compared with the reporting of- this means to compare reporting styles and not the figures, which is why it should be struck off
E-this is wordy and unnecessarily uses the possessive form, i.e. Republicans'..
