A recent United States Bureau report shows that there are more than three times as many households where the children and grandchildren are living in their grandparent's home as compared to households where the grandparent's are living in their children's or grandchildren's home.

b) as there are household where the

Oa is B. I chose A...Please help!!

please underline the incorrect part in the original sentence. that makes it easier to read.

I would have never picked A.

A says3 times AS MANY x AS COMPARED TO y...

We are comparing number of households.

Correct Idiom is 3 times AS MANY x AS y
Both x and y are number of households. the use of compared makes it incorrect right away.
