After applying to several MSc courses at UK Universities, and having being set the requisite GMAT scores, I embarked upon a very intensive GMAT tuition process, predominantly the Quantitative element.
After many hours of tuition and practice my Quant scores were steadily rising and after having scored 590, 600 and 620 with Q35 avg and V 46-49 avg (I know the Quant is very poor compared to some of you chaps but I really am trying hard!) I thought it was time to sit my exam.
Unfortunately when the quant section came up in my exam I had a very serious attack of the nerves, which started before I even began the section. This unfortunately had a knock-on effect on my Verbal section too and eventually was scored a miserable 480
.
Does anyone have any sound advice on how to combat nerves, and any comprehensive textbook (s) that will help me with my Quant section please?
