Can I improve my verbal score while ignoring SC?

Hello all,


With 2 weeks of studying techniques for RC & CR. Do you think I can bump up my score from 22-26 to 30-34? If not, what would be a realistic improvement?

I took the MGMAT CAT and scored a 25.
7/15 SC questions were correct.
7/14 CR questions were correct.
5/12 RC questions were correct.

I don't even have the basic grammar down so I just pick whatever feels right, and I don't have enough time to learn all the grammar rules. So I'm hoping I can bump up my verbal score without studying for the SC and just trying to wing it.

What do you guys think?

It is difficult to judge based on only one simulation test. Obviously the best possible option would be to learn at least the most basic rules concerning SC.

To be honest, I think there is quite a large gap between a score of 22-26 and 30-34. So in my opinion you would be really lucky if you succeeded.

If I were you, I would work on all three parts of the verbal section. In case of SC, if you are not willing to spend long hours repeating the whole set of rules, you can track only the questions where you choose the incorrect answer and then repeat only the rules concerning this question.
