V + W / ( X / YZ )

To halve the value of the expression above by doubling exeactly one of the variables, one must double which of the following variables?

A. V
B. W
C. X
D. Y
E. Z

I don't understand this question :(, could someone explain it to me?

The answer is C, if the original expression is changed to
(V+W)/(X/YZ)

Because:
(V+W)/(X/YZ)
= (V+W)YZ/X

Half the value means [(V+W)YZ/X]/2 = (V+W)YZ/2X

So must double the variable X.

Can you double check the expression? Because if it's V+W/(X/YZ) , then
=V+WYZ/X
=(VX+WYZ)/X

I don't know how to sovle it.

That is the given equation

Given equation is (V+W)/(X/YZ) = YZ(V+W)/X

Now the value of this equation is to be halved i.e we need i/2[YZ(V+W)/X] = YZ(V+W)/2X.

Hence value of X must be doubled
