If in a passage we examine both weakness and strength of a topic under examination, then is it "critique a methodology" ??

This is from Verbal OG Review. I thought to "critique a methodology" is only to write against it

Any thoughts ?

Hi Suman,

Critique is different from criticize. The former is exactly what you described in your question above. Whereas the latter is used in a negative context.

Hope I have answered your question.
