Well, with a 310 things are going to be tough. That's the equivalent about a 530 on the GMAT. You will likely have to retake the GRE or take the GMAT and get at least 150 points more (GMAT) to make a school like Cornell come within range,

Hope this helps,
Best,
Jon

Hello manonmoon22

I do think you have a solid work exp, and 8+ yrs as a BA would also make a strong case for career progression. There is obviously more to it, but given the GPA, and especially the GRE, I'd strongly suggest retaking it. Better still, go for your GMAT. Do not give schools any reason to look at any of the chinks, and a solid GMAT score (680+), is one of the things that you'll need to get started.

I know it does look like a daunting task with all the work at Investment Banks, but a well defined strategy and decent amount of hard work will go a long way. At this point in time, my advice would be to solely focus on your GMAT. The other things will then follow.

If you need help, we have some awesome resources for GMAT courses, with some of the best instructors. And you have your own flexibility! Find out more at: https://www.genedmba.com/services/gmat-preparation/
