Folks! English is not my native language. I claim that I have professional fluency on resume. However, I need to reconsider and start from scratch. My main objective is get most SC questions right on GMAT! I am thinking of revising some high school grammar books before I start looking at some flash cards and the GMAT review by GMAC. Please suggest the best strategy

Though I think grammar books have a place in every library, I don't think they're a terribly good use of your time when studying for the GMAT. The subset of grammatical rules that the GMAT tests is relatively small, and other issues, such as logic and meaning, are often just as important as grammar. This is all to say that you're better off working with Sentence Correction material that's tailored specifically to the GMAT. Here's our SC lesson: https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/free-gmat-lesson/

Next, tackle the SC section of the Official Guide. Post any questions you struggle with here.

I completely agree with what David said here.

Studying for the GMAT requires you to master certain concepts of the grammar and those can be counted on finger tips:

1. Subject Verb Agreement Errors
2. Pronoun Reference Errors
3. Tense Errors
4. Modifier Errors
5. Parallelism Errors
6. Idiom Errors

Picking up a grammar school to go through these is not advisable.
Instead you can pick up a GMAT preparation book and master these concepts.
