Local customers are more likely to spend money in the central Lyriana business district than are tourists visiting central Lyriana by automobile.


COuld not make out whats wrong with this sentence
Does it not mean:
Local customers are more likely to spend money in the central Lyriana business district than are tourists....

where the sentence are wrong. I posted this know what is the correct version of the statement.
Do we have correct version of these setences posted anywhere
