Although some consultants insist that agencies should offer all-inclusive fixed-agenda packages to overseas travelers, others advise that travelers will plan a trip only if time would be set aside for separately spontaneous excursions.

A only if time would be set aside for separately spontaneous excursions
B only if time is set aside for separate, spontaneous excursions
C if time is set aside only for excursions spontaneously separate
D if time was set aside only for separate and spontaneous excursions
E if time would only be set aside for spontaneous excursions, separately

Is E the OA?

The sentence means that only when time is set separate ,can the tourists plan for excursions.

All the other statements except E use separate to modify excursions and not time .

Correct answer according to me B.

The structure of the sentence is DC,IC.

The DC - Although..travelers

IC- others..excursions.

The correct formation is adj+adj+noun.

There is no such thing as separately spontaneous.

So eliminate all answer choices that use this formation.

A,C, and E. Despite the placement of adverb it will still modify spontaneous in E. C uses incorrect formation spontaneously separate. There is no such thing as spontaneously separate. You can say spontaneously act [ because spontaneously indicates that something was done very swiftly and the verb such as act is thing that is done spontaneously].

Between D and B.B is correct because D uses the incorrect verb tense [past] by using verb was.

If you have read MGMAT SC guide, you must know that : future goes will present and conditional goes with past.Since we can't change will to would because it is not underlined, past tense [was] is incorrect.

This is very similar to one of the OG questions.

Answer is B.

Only makes the difference. So, we should keep only in front of the if clause. Eliminates CDE.

If....then relationship is correct in B.

If + present + future.

=> Future + if + present.

The second option has been used in option B.

Thanks.
