I'm interested in:
1) Haas Ewmba
2) Booth Weekend
3) Kellogg Weekend
4) UCLA Anderson femba
in that order.

Any other schools you recommend (or not recommend)??

My main concerns are:
1) Haas EWMBA is my 1st choice school. Will age (38) become a factor in admissions into the Haas EWMBA program?
2) Will Chicago Booth & Kellogg become stretch?

-GMAT attempt Dec 2013 700(Q48,V38), Jun '13 attempt 650 (Q45/V34)
-Senior Software Engineer with 17 years of experience (Indian male IT professional in the bay area)
-B.E. Computer Science (about 68% aggregate from an Indian University, non-IIT)
-Extra curricular: Toastmasters for about 2 years- Been Secretary and VP Education,
conducted speech contests and organized a lot of meetings.
-Helped a friend in his potential start-up in terms of software development/ideas during spare time.
-Lots of start-up experience (7 years) starting from the ground up but as an engineer, not a manager(5 start-ups in 5 years at one time)
-Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience as a Lead/Senior Engineer (lot of examples)
-Current position, not just software development but vendor interactions, participate in roadmaps, Engineering Requirements, lots of customer management.
-Influenced senior management/VP in companies I worked for.
-2nd Engineer of a branch of a bay area company started in India -involved in ground-up work.
-Community experience- helped organize meetings and actively volunteered against an apartment management for better facilities. This eventually led to a lawsuit. Also volunteered in temples.

Your work experience should make you an interesting candidate to all those schools in my view. Demonstrating the ability to pay for the programs and also how you will balance with your job are critical. Convincing them you have something of value to bring to the collective experience is also key--you seem to have this in spades.
