Hi,
I'm considering applying for the 2+2 in the third round and wanted to get some insight as to whether I should (considering I heard the last round is more of a diversity one). I'm an economics/asian studies double at an ivy league, and I'll be getting recs from professors rather than supervisors. In the case that my numbers are up to HBS standards, as an Asian male going into financial services should I even consider applying due to being "non-diverse"? I'm the type of person who wouldn't mind applying even if the chances are little, as long as having to reapply to HBS a couple years out isn't affected by my initial 2+2 application (it wouldn't, correct)?
If you do recommend I give it a shot, just had a couple quick questions.
a) For the essays is it okay to build off work experiences I've had in finance or does it have to be something non-business related (or would this be preferred)?
b) I got involved in a non-profit very recently: is it too much of a stretch to write about this because its so recent?
Thanks!
