Dear All,

I request a honest evaluation of my profile. My goal is to get into a Masters in Finance at LBS or Phd in Finance programme in a top school. I am not sure how my profile weighs against the competition in top schools like NYU, MIT Sloan, Berkeley, Chicago.

Acads
=====
BTech EE from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (GPA 3.0)
(Best Tech School in India)
MBA Finance from FMS Delhi (First Div.)
(One of the Best B-school in India)
MS in Computational Finance from Georgia Tech (GPA 4.0)
(Got a schol.)

Relevant Work Ex
================
4 years Work Ex at IFC, World Bank, DC USA
as Financial engineer.
1 year of work-ex in IT consulting in financial services group.

GMAT
====
GMAT 50Q, 40V with score 740, AWA 5.0

I changed my career track from engineering to finance. I have scored high on finance subjects and also performed very well in quant fin & math courses. I believe my work ex at World Bank is also a strong indicator of my passion and dedication for finance.

I request a few inputs about which schools will be ideal and where I can have a good chance of making it. I want to apply to a mix of schools, yet I find it hard to prepare the list.
