Is there any resource for awa

Hi all,

Can somebody cite some good resource to find answers to official awa questions. I wanted to read some good essays and wanted to weigh my ideas against them.

And yes, cite resource apart from google

I was thinking if there is a post where someone has collected all the essays, or if there is any book available from any tutorials.

If you want to see how you'll really score, try GMAT Write (available on MBA.com). I bought it just so that I could see if my score was where it needed to be or whether I need to work on it. It's $30 and uses the exact same algorithm to score your essay as does the real GMAT.

The AWA might as well be a pass/fail grade. If you are a native English speaker, get a 5 and you will be fine. If you are not, then shoot for a 4. Anything below a 4 raises red flags.

The difference between scoring a 5 and scoring a 6 is negligable in terms of the admissions process. Just follow the basic formula given in the above link and you will be fine.

I scored a 5.5 on mine following this formula. Make sure you proofread (give yourself 5 minutes to do so) and that you realize that writing more, in the case of the AWA, is better. Good luck!
