Chords in a Circle Question

by masskev » Thu Feb 12, 2009 1:08 pm
Two chords of lengths 2L1 and 2L2 are drawn in a circle.
Their lengths are inversely proportional to the straight
distance joining the centre.Find the radius of circle?

Can someone tell me how to solve for this.

Thanks

Is the answer: sqrt( L1^2 + L2^2) ?
