I remember solving this before

For problems like this consider fractions and integers. When considering fractions pick extreme values(we know in this porblem its all positive)

x=1/10 x=9/10

For x=9/10 II will be true



Easy way to eliminate III would be

2x<x^2<1/x

Divide inequality by x(inequality does not change since x is positive)

2<x<1/x^2

Can we find any value for x>2 where 1/x^2>x ->NO

Since x is positive choose x=1/2. It is best to plug in numbers on such a question that involves too many variables in answer choices. Using algebra will be confusing since variables might be arranged differently in the choices and you will have to keep revising your answer to keep up.

I 1/4 <1 < 2 Valid.

II 1/4 <2< 1 Invalid

III 1 <1/4 Stop right here. Invalid
