I have 5 years of work experience under my belt, but I'm worried about my GMAT and GPA. The average GMAT score for accepted applicants to the program is 580, but my practice GMAT scores have been 440 -470 on Kaplan, and 550 on GMAT Prep. I have a week of practice left.

My GPA is also an issue. When I started college, My first 2 years I was a screw up who never went to class, and never dropped the classes that I didn't go to, because of this my GPA was like 1.9 - 2.0. I dropped out of school for a little while, and a year later entered a new college. There I actually finished strongly, graduating with a 3.85 GPA. But of course, with applying to MBA programs, the old low GPA's haunt me.

So now I'm worried about my GPA and GMAT. In my situation, do you guys think I have a chance? I feel like the only thing I have working for me is my latter GPA, and maybe my work experience. I don't think UMass is a top 50 MBA program so maybe not super competitive but competitive nonetheless.
