Applying for B-Schools in 3rd round.

by bhushank1 » Tue Jan 06, 2009 5:48 pm
Hi,

I have scheduled my GMAT on 2nd week of Feb 09. I am planning to apply for business schools after that. As I will be applying in Feb , I have already missed 2nd deadline of most of the B-Schools. So by the time I apply for B-Schools it will be 3rd Deadline. So my question is what are the chances of getting admission in 3rd deadline ? I have 4 years of experience (including 2 years of International). I am targeting score of 650+. I will be applying to Cambridge (Judge) and Nanyang (Singapore). Please advice. Thanks in advance.

I can't quantify it for you. The acceptance percentages go down third round at most top US schools. I don't know if that is also true at Judge and Nanyang. But it is certainly above -0-, which is what it would be if you don't apply at all.

Best,
Linda
