This might be the stupidest question that this forum has witnessed but can someone please clarify the difference between these two data points that all MBA programs provide?
e.g., if I want to understand how many students Kellogg sends to McKinsey who work as Strategy/Mgmt. Consulting Associates and NOT in some other capacity (such as research analyst, software project manager etc.), do I look at data by industry or data by function?
(I know that no school has data broken down by each company, so just using McKinsey as an example here.. referring to consulting in general)
