Low GMAT Score. Need advice

Hi,

So I got a low GMAT score like really low since I had just one month to practice and I had work going on and to be honest I am just really bad in Maths. I have already submitted my application in two Universities that I am applying for PhD and they required GMAT score which I have to submit now. The problem is whether I should submit the scores or not or should I tell them that since my score is low its better that they just forget my application. The deadlines have passed so they are just waiting for GMAT score so I don't know what to do. Would like some advice. Thank you.

I understand your dilemma but here are my two cents- Even if you have a low GMAT now that you have already applied you should send it across. Look at it this way that even if you get rejected you will have a chance to apply to the next intake or whenever feasible but if you do not send in your scores or do not let the university know it will invariably leave a really bad impression and since documents etc are kept with a school for almost a year or two they will be able to identify you.

Ultimately the choice is yours.

Hi abeer85,

I completely agree with Manya, even if you have a very low GMAT Score - do not delay in submitting your score to B-School. This way at least you have chance to apply in next round or next intake. But if you do not send your score it will really leave a very bad impression to the admissions committee. So submit your GMAT Scores, you never know when your stars can change.

Well you kind of have to submit the scores. So go ahead and do that. If things don't work out, then it would probably be not a too bad idea to consider a retake.
