Q)4. Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into a special fund, with the intention to sustain the state's economy after the exhaustion of its oil reserves.
[A] fund, with the intention to sustain the state's economy after the exhaustion of its oil reserves
fund, the intention of which is to sustain the state's economy after they have exhausted their oil reserves
[C] fund intended to sustain the state's economy after oil reserves are exhausted
[D] fund intended to sustain the state's economy after exhausting its oil reserves
[E] fund that they intend to sustain the state's economy after oil reserves are exhausted
usage of "they" is incorrect B and E eliminated
usage of "after exhausting its oil reserves" is a misfit D is eliminated
cant figure out between A and C and why
A and C convey different meanings:

A correctly says that Alaska intends to sustain the state's economy, while C incorrectly suggests that the fund will sustain the state's economy.

Between A and C..A is better as oil reserves are exhausted in C didn't clarify whose oil reserve is going to be exhausted..whether its of Alaska or of any other country.

Could you advise why "A" is correct...Between A&C, I chose C.

I didn't see a reason for using "Comma" in the sentence(as given in choice A).

Because Alaska has the intention to sustain.
C tells us that fund intended to sustain.

therefore A is correct.
