Jablonski, who owns a car dealership, has donated cars
to driver education programs at area schools for over
five years. She found the statistics on car accidents to be
disturbing, and she wanted to do something to
encourage better driving in young drivers. Some
members of the community have shown their support for
this action by purchasing cars from Jablonski's
dealership.
Which one of the following propositions is best
illustrated by the passage?
(A) The only way to reduce traffic accidents is
through driver education programs.
(B) Altruistic actions sometimes have positive
consequences for those who perform them.
(C) Young drivers are the group most likely to
benefit from driver education programs.
(D) It is usually in one's best interest to perform
actions that benefit others.
(E) An action must have broad community support
if it is to be successful.

OA in some time
Cheers !!

Very Strong usage of words
(B) Altruistic actions sometimes have positive consequences for those who perform them.
The action of Jablonski is really worldly. And it has got support. See the green highlighted parts in passage.
(C) Young drivers are the group most likely to benefit from driver education programs.
(D) It is usually in one's best interest to perform actions that benefit others. This is just a matter Morale or Opinion. Cannot be said from the passage.
(E) An action must have broad community support if it is to be successful. No where it is said the mentioned program is Successful.

Good 1 Shovan,
But, I went for C

is the strong phrase most likely the only reason to reject C ?
cause the Jablonski is talking abt young people in her statement ?
""she wanted to do something to
encourage better driving in young drivers.""
Cheers !!

No!! I guess I have highlighted the wrong part. Still it is wrong. This is because there is no evidence provided that this program is ONLY benefiting the young. It can be useful for who ever under goes the program. It can not be said as Joblonski is concerned about better driving encouragement in youth but as per the Benefits we cannot say.

Taking an example the Trainings happen in Organization is meant for Freshers joining that Organization, but are they really getting the Benefits ;)
