Improving or not?

Hi mates,

I continue towards improving (or not?) my scores. Last week I took 2 Kaplan CAT (friday + saturday). Today I did one more but of GMAT prep test.

Any advice is welcome. My GMAT real test is in December 18th!

Hi Luk,

Keep up your studies, there is definitely hope for improvement between now and Dec 18th. After you do each test, set aside a separate study session to review it and learn from your mistakes, and analyze what your strengths and weaknesses are. My students often put off that CAT review until the end of their prep, and then finally do some CAT review and say how helpful it was, and that they wish they'd done it earlier (even though I am always telling them to do so!).

Concentration is challenging on the reading components such as RC and CR, that is true. Some people find it helpful to jot a few short-hand notes as they read, just to stay focused and not drift off. For RC, after each paragraph you can pause for a second or so and ask yourself, what was the main point of what I just read? It may take a few seconds longer, but in the end less time than having to re-read everything a ton!
