imo A

Between as and like -- go with 'like' here to avoid wordiness. Only A and C remain; Though C too places the noun that is modified by the opening phrase, 'many another' is senseless combination of words. In addition, semicolon is appropriate here as we need the first sentence to be complete followed by the next which shares the same subject.

Thanks OV25 but what would be the answer if there was an option:

As many others of his generation of native American leaders,Joseph Brant lived in two worlds

than answer would be option A or above option

Always 'As' should follow a verb. To compare nouns, as is the case here, use 'like'.

For ex:
'As many other of his generation of native American leaders lived, Joseph Brant....' is a better construction. However is still wordy when you have 'like' option

Dont forget to push 'Thank you' button if satisfied.
