Study Buddy!

by dzelkas » Sun Feb 10, 2008 5:53 pm
I am looking for a study buddy, to meet up 2-4 times a week.. I guess it would be more of a motivational tool. I have been scorring in 600+ range and looking to go to 700++++

I am in New York. Can meet at library/barnes& nobles/starbucs.. Doesn't matter..

I know I need to put more time into studies...but having hard time motivating myself...especially ater working 12hours a day for an IB..let me know if anyone is interested. shoot me an email to [email protected]

Thanks

Danny

Great idea, Danny. Also, just know that you have tons of study buddies online at the Beat The GMAT community. Please leverage this community during your prep!

Good luck,

If only you posted this request three months earlier, I'd have joined you. I met a couple of people in NYC with whom i formed a group and studied for a while. There is a GMAT meet up community at NYC: https://gmat.meetup.com/36/ Unfortunately their next meet up is three-four weeks away.

This is organized by someone at Bell Curves, a test prep agency but the guy who hosts it is honest with his motive. You should give that group a try. It definitely helped me :) Best of Luck! When you're done with the GMAT and are looking for MBA groups, let me know. I'll join you.
