Good day

I just want to know is it compulsory to do the Advance to do on the study guide ? I am aiming at a score of 650 as the Business school I am targeting wants a minimum score of 600. Please advise.

Hi SophyLee,

It depends.

If your quantitative score and verbal score are similar, then you probably need 600-level scores in each section. In this case, you could probably skip the Advanced To Do's.

However, if your verbal score is considerably lower than your quantitative score, you may need an exceptionally high quantitative score to bring your total score up to the 600-level. In this case, you may want to tackle the Advanced To Do's.

The GMAT Prep Now videos cover all of the concepts that the GMAT tests. The MGMAT books also cover all of the required concepts, but they label some concepts as "advanced." These are often concepts that are rarely tested.
So, if you purchased the GMAT Prep Now videos, you're good.
