Tricky Prime question

If a and b are positive integers, what is the value of a + b?

1)a/b = 5/8

2)The greatest common divisor of a and b is 1

Any suggestions?

is the answer C. Since GCD is 1, and x/y is 5/8 the actual values of x & y have to be 5 & 8.

Hence C.
