Prospects for falling interest rates to continue improved last month when the nation's money supply dropped sharply and a leading bank cut its prime lending rate a full percentage point.

A)
B) Prospects that interest rates will continue to fall improved last month
C) Prospects improved for the continuation of falling interest rates last month
D) Last month prospects improved for interest rates to continue to fall
E) Last month prospects improved that falling interest rates will continue

IMO B

not underlines part starts with "when" which means it should describe time

hence eliminate D and E


In A; B and C....B stands out clearly..."falling" is akward..

This is my take...

One more technique: for idiom lovers

Continue to ..is correct idiomatic usage..hence u are left with B and D

However, D that not end in month required to match with not underlines part when ( Time)

is it prospect that/prospect for/prospect of ?
