here oa is E;but wats wrong with d?in d use use of which makes it clear that land and equipment r used by farmers as colaterla;plz cprrect me where i m wrong

In D use as collateral and borrow against have the same meaning - redundant.

Declining values for farm equipment and land, is a modifier that modifies the collateral and not the farmers...

According to me A is the right answer... I really don't know why is E the OA,

Could someone help understand the answer...

This is an Og-10 question. The OA is E.

This can be simply solved by applying subject verb agreement :

Subject : Declining values ( plural)
Main verb should be in plural form : are

left with D and E.

As per the original meaning - the collateral consists of both farm equipment and land.
in D : "which" refer to land only , but collateral consists of both farm equipment and land and not land alone.
