Is the integer r divisible by 3 ?

1) r is the product of 4 consecutive numbers

2) r<25

Statement 1

The product of any 4 consecutive numbers is definetly divisible by 3.

Take exampes 1.2.3.4 , 2.3.4.5 , 11.12.13.14 etc etc.. Each of these products is definetly divisible by 3.

Hence statement 1 is sufficient

Statement 2

r= 7(not divisible by 3)
r=6 (divisible by 3)

Hence statement 2 is not sufficient.

Statement 1 would be better phrased as "four consecutive integers."

how can one number be confirmed to be integer? are u looking the answer choice A and then framing the question to suit accordingly?
