What fraction of this year's graduating students at a certain college are males?
A) Of this year's graduating students, 33 percent of the males and 20 percent of the females transferred from another college.
B) Of this year's graduating students, 25 percent transferred from another college.

Need to find M/M+F

From A) 0.33M +0.2F transferred from another college. This is not enough to find M/M+F
From B) 0.25(M+F) transferred from another college. This is also not enough by itself.
Combining A and B, 0.33M + 0.2F =0.25(M+F) , which gives, M = (5/8) F. Now use this to find M/M+F. Using both statements you can solve the problem.
