Hi,
Gave my test today and the score is 630(Q45 and V31).

The lowest practice score I got was 680

I slept a good 7 hours and was feeling ok(though a little nervous, but nothing too much). Essay and IR went fine. In fact, IR went better than I expected, as I was prepared to guess on a couple of questions, but managed to do them all.

The Quant started ok - Questions just similar to OG/GMATPrep - nothing out of the blue. At the end of quant though, I had a feeling I didn't do well, as questions seemed easier than what usually I get in GMATPrep. But I didn't mind much.

Same with verbal. Everything seemed ok. Nothing weird.
Everything seems to have went fine in the test. I'm not sure what exactly went wrong.

How do I analyse my real level. I had earlier asked in the forum, if I should postpone based on the inconsistency of my scores.
My practice scores are listed there - the link for that message,

I also reset the GMATPrep and scored 710 and 700 on the 2 reset exams.

For my prep, I used MGMAT SC and Quant strategy books. For RC and CR skimmed MGMAT book once. Did problems from OG(12 and 13th) and also Jeff's quant problems. Signed up for e-gmat, but didn't do most of the videos as I didn't have much time.

My main problem is I'm not sure where my true level is. Even GMATPrep threw me off with inconsistency in Q/V scores. With 740s in my last 3 MGMAT tests, I was hoping at least to cross the 700 barrier, but 630 is just too low. Any ideas for assessment?

I'm planning to retake the GMAT in a month or two. Given that I've exhausted most of my practice tests(including the GMATPrep)
I took the Veritas and 800score earlier, but found the questions to be very unlike the GMAT, so not sure if I should do them now. But given that I don't have much choice, maybe I'll do them.

My question for those retaking the exam: How are you guys, practicing and reading?

I just gave my exam today and scored a dismal 600.
I gave 3 practice tests last week.

GMAT prep 2 - 690 QA-49 va 36
GMAT prep 2 reset - 740 49 QA and 41 VA
Princeton Diag - 700 46 QA and 41 VA

But today it was just pathetic , was it just a bad day or was it something wrong with my concepts or fundamentals ? I just cant get over my score as of now.

I have to reappear again but now a strange fear has come in.

Experts,any thoughts on this ?

Thanks,
Ankit
