3 months to GO!!!

by gmatlover » Sun Jun 03, 2007 4:49 pm
Hey guys,

I feel like I am doing well so far. Here is a breakdown of what I am doing and how it has been helping me.

11th guide and all 7 manhattan GMAT prep book. I have set a july 10th deadline for completion of the first 5 manhattan quantitative prep book along with doing all suggested 11th guide questions from each of the manhattan guides and doing the online quiz that corresponds with each title.

Once I am through with the quant, I am moving on for a month of strictly verbal from the manthattan/OG/online manhattan study center. I hope to be done by august and then spend a total of 21 days in august leading up to writing my exam with this strategy.

Day 1- write practice test from Manhattan guide or GMAT prep
Day 2- go over all quant from the test
Day 3- go over all verbal from the test

continue this pattern 7 times until I have completed 7 practice tests and understood them thoroughly. Hopefully my scores will be getting better as the days go on and day 21 approaches. I will time it so that I finish day 21 and then write the gmat the next day...

How does this strategy look?

This strategy looks pretty good--you're definitely working with great materials. This is a really short study period you've set for yourself, but I like how you emphasize taking a lot of practice tests.

Just an FYI for anyone who likes your method and wants to follow it - we now have 8 books, not 7 (as of early May 07).
